What is AROA?

Angelina Radiation Oncology Associates (AROA) is a private practice physician group specializing in radiation oncology, which is the delivery of radiation treatment for cancer. As a hospital-based practice, AROA provides physician services to two East Texas cancer centers: the Arthur Temple, Sr. Regional Cancer Center in Lufkin, Texas and the Laird Cancer Center in Nacogdoches, Texas. Sidney C. Roberts, MD, a board-certified radiation oncologist, heads the group.
